ATTOCK, Jan 30 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Attock Rana Akbar Hayat said Tuesday that Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was allocating huge funds for the promotion of sports as Rs320 million were being spent in the district.
He said this while addressing a Sports Festival function which was organized by Headmasters Association.
Hayat said sports grounds were being upgraded while students were being encouraged to participate in sports events. He said sports were the only source to keep people healthy and fit to become useful members of the society.
He appreciated the students who displayed better performance during sports competition. He also distributed trophies and prizes among the best players and best athletes.
