MIRPUR (AJK), Nov 4 (APP):The Punjab University has won the single event of the 3-Day Women’s Table Tennis Championship while Kinnaird College Lahore won an honorary position in the double event played at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) university’s campus in the state metropolis.
The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir organized the three-day Women’s Table Tennis Championship in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission, according to an official handout issued by the AJK PID on Tuesday.
The teams from 18 universities from Azad Kashmir and Pakistan participated in the championship, it said.
The management team comprising Dr. Faisal Mahmood Butt, Dr. Shahida Khaliq, Dr. Umair Sulehria and Wasim Awan worked tirelessly and made the championship a success to promote women’s sports and highlight their talents.
