The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) and Meinhardt Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the organization and sponsorship of the 1st Meinhardt Garde A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships, scheduled to be held from August 29 to September 5 here at the PTF Tennis Complex.
PTF, Meinhardt Pakistan sign MoU for Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis C’ships
ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (APP):The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) and Meinhardt Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the organization and sponsorship of the 1st Meinhardt Garde A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships, scheduled to be held from August 29 to September 5 here at the PTF Tennis Complex.
Under the terms of the MoU, Meinhardt Pakistan will sponsor the Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships annually for the next three years, demonstrating its long-term commitment to the development and promotion of tennis in Pakistan, said a press release.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, welcomed the partnership and appreciated Meinhardt Pakistan’s support for tennis, stating that the championship would provide valuable competitive opportunities for Pakistani players and contribute significantly to the growth of the sport in the country.
Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur, Country Director, Meinhardt Pakistan, expressed his commitment to supporting the development of tennis and creating opportunities for young talent in Pakistan through sustained collaboration with the Pakistan Tennis Federation.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail (R), Secretary General PTF, and the PTF Management thanked Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur and Meinhardt Pakistan for sponsoring the championship and for their valuable contribution towards the promotion and development of tennis in Pakistan.
In addition to the main championship events, the tournament will feature exciting community engagement activities, including the One Point Slam, One Serve Competition, and One Point-One Serve Challenge. These activities will provide an opportunity for tennis enthusiasts, players, and residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to participate and experience the excitement of competitive tennis.
