LAHORE, Jan 01 (APP): As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) enters second decade of its existence, it looks ahead with confidence, ready to reach new destinations while continuing to deliver cricket of an excellent and distinctive standard.
With the first decade coming to.a close, it now prepares to enter a new phase of growth. From the 11th edition onwards, two new teams will join the existing six franchises, expanding the league’s footprint and commercial potential.
The auction of the two new teams is scheduled for Thursday, 8 January 2026 in Islamabad, with 10 bids shortlisted for the process.
The league’s growing international recognition was further highlighted in 2025 through successful roadshows at the Lord’s Cricket Ground and in New York, aimed at attracting global investors and partners.
