LAHORE, Oct 4 (APP): Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Brig (retd) Khalid Khokhar and Secretary Shahbaz Ahmad have felicitated Zulfiqar Ghuman on his appointment as Sports Board Punjab Director-General.
The two officials expressed the hope here on Tuesday that the standard and infrastructure of sports in general and hockey in particular in the province would improve under his leadership.
It is worth mentioning that hockey has been Ghuman’s special love. He has had a distinguished hockey career during his student days, representing teams of prestigious institutions including Government College Lahore and the Punjab University.
“We hope that efforts would be made from the Sports Board Punjab platform to take sports to new heights in the province,” they added.
