ISLAMABAD, Dec 28 (APP): The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), led by president Brig (retd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar on Monday appointed Olympian Abdul Hanif Khan as the new head coach and manager of the national hockey team.
Earlier, on Sunday the federation through a press release has stated that Olympian Qamar Ibrahim has been appointed the head coach and Hanif Khan as manager, but only a day latter (on Monday), it issued another press release stating that Qamar Ibrahim has been appointed the coach, while Hanif Khan will be both head coach and manager of the team.
Dr Yousuf Baig and Irfan Sheikh have been selected as team doctor and physical trainer respectively.
