LAHORE, Mar 25 (APP):Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) ‘D’ certificate coaching course will be held from April 17 under the aegis of Model Town football academy here at MFTA ground.
The five day useful activity will help the young aspiring coaches to learn modern coaching knowledge, said a spokesman of the MFTA on Monday.
“As many as twenty five coaches will attend the five-day course for which PFF will be providing expert coaches to impart latest coaching techniques to the participants,” he said.
This will be the 4th PFF ‘D’ Certificate Course conducted by MTFA with liaison of PFF.
Meanwhile, MFTA President Mian Rizwan Ali has shown his commitment for coach education and termed the holding of series of such courses another step towards fulfillment of that commitment. He believes that all registered football clubs in Pakistan must have at-least ‘D’ Certificate coaches, so that the standard of football could be raised gradually. “At the moment there are approximately 2000 registered clubs in Pakistan, but the strength of ‘D’ certified active coaches is hardly 500. So that was why MTFA was playing its part in fulfilling the gap,” said Rizwan.
