KARACHI, Mar 10 (APP): The Head Coach of Peshawar Zalmi Darren Sammy on Sunday said that the Peshawar Zalmi has reached the playoffs for ninth time.
While talking to media persons after a practice match at the National Bank Stadium here, he said, ‘We trusted the young players from the first year.’
He said that the credit went to the players for consistency.
Sammy said that experience had come into the team because of Babar Azam.
He said, ‘Babar Azam is a superstar and he always tries to learn.’
The Zalm’s Head Coach said that his love for Zalmi was different and coaching was his passion.
He said, ‘I am here representing Peshawar and I will not say anything about the coaching of Pakistan.’He further said, ‘We look forward to playing matches in Peshawar.’
Hes said that a day would come when they would play in Peshawar and see how they were welcomed.
