PBCC name squad for inaugural Women’s T20 Blind CWC

ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP): The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has named a 16-member team to participate in the inaugural Women’s T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held from November 13 to 23, through a hybrid model in Sri Lanka and India.

The event will feature six countries Australia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the USA coming together to showcase their talent through blind cricket, said a press release.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Chairman Syed Sultan Shah has approved the team and also deputed team officials.

Players include Category B1: Bisma Hussain, Rimsha Shabbir, Shumaila Kiran, Qandeel Fatima, Esha Faisal, Sumaira Malik; Category B2: Nimra Rafique, Nusrat Batool, Hooria Malik, Rabbia Javed Hashmi, Maryam Jahangir; Category B3: Nisha, Mehreen Ali, Armeen Tariq, Noor Fatima, Bushra Ashraf.

The team officials: Tahir Mehmood Butt (Head Coach), Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah (Coach), Rubab Zahra (Trainer), Shinza Sultan (Physio), Rana Wasim Ahmad (Media Manager).
