Pakistani team to compete in World Taekwondo Championship

PESHAWAR, Jul 22 (APP):The Pakistan Global Taekwondo Team departed for Dubai participate in World Global Taekwondo Championship scheduled to begin today (Tuesday), said a press release issued here.
 This prestigious international event is being hosted by the International Global Taekwondo Federation, drawing participation from male and female athletes across the globe.
The national squad is composed of talented, energetic, and dedicated young athletes who have undergone rigorous training under the supervision of professional coaches and the team management.
 The players are reportedly in excellent form and brimming with confidence.
Leading the team is Masood Afridi, Secretary General of the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation and a renowned athlete himself. Afridi has not only focused on refining the technical skills of the players but has also instilled in them the fighting spirit and determination required to compete at the international level.
Before departure, the athletes expressed their firm resolve to return home with medals, driven by the nation’s prayers and their own hard work. “We are fully prepared and committed to Pakistan proud on the global stage,” said one of the team members.
Team officials also expressed optimism about the team’s chances, noting the continuous progress Pakistan has made in taekwondo in recent years. “We believe this team has what it takes to prove Pakistan’s strength and potential in international martial arts,” said a member of the management.
Pakistan’s growing presence in the global taekwondo arena is a testament to the sport’s rising standards in the country.
