Pakistan U-14 girls’ team off to Vietnam to feature in ITF Asia-Oceania Pre-Qualifying Event

ISLAMABAD, Mar 01 (APP): Pakistan’s Under-14 Girls’ Tennis Team departed for Vietnam on Sunday to participate in the 2026 Asia-Oceania Pre-Qualifying Event of the ITF World Juniors Competition, scheduled to be held from March 2 to 7.
The prestigious event, organized under the umbrella of the International Tennis Federation, will bring together emerging talent from across the Asia-Oceania region, offering young players a valuable platform to showcase their skills at the international level.
The Pakistan squad comprises Hajra Sohail, Khadija Khalil and Eesha Rabbi, while Sara Mansoor will accompany the team as captain.
The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) President and Secretary General extended their best wishes to the team before departure, expressing confidence in the players’ abilities and hoping for a commendable performance in the competition.
The tournament will be held at the state-of-the-art NovaWorld Phan Thiet complex in Vietnam, where teams will compete for qualification spots in the next stage of the ITF World Junior competition.
