Pakistan to participate in Five-Nation Cricket C’ship

ISLAMABAD, Sept 30 (APP): Pakistan disabled team will participate in the Five-Nation Cricket Championship scheduled to be held in Dubai from October 18 to 25.

Talking to APP, Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), Secretary, Ameer-u-din Ansari said the championship was being organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) Academy. “A 20-member squad including officials will depart to Dubai on October 16 or 17 to participate in the event,” he said.

Ansari said the final squad would be announced in a day or two.

“The training camp for the players is ongoing in Karachi,” he said.

He said the countries participating in the championship besides Pakistan include India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and England.

Responding to a question, he said the schedule of the matches was not available yet.
