ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP): Pakistan marched into the quarter-finals of the World Junior Squash Team Championships 2025 with a commanding 2-0 victory over Poland in the pre-quarterfinal clash in Egypt on Tuesday.According to information made available here by Pakistan Squash Federation, in a high-stakes encounter, Pakistan’s Abdullah Nawaz overcame a tough challenge from Jan Samborski, sealing the first match 3-1 with game scores of 12-10, 4-11, 11-8, 11-2.
Teammate Anas Ali Shah followed up with a thrilling five-game battle against Franciszek Michniewicz. Despite trailing after the third game, Anas fought back strongly to win 11-7, 9-11, 10-12, 11-5, 11-3, clinching the tie for Pakistan.
With this win, Pakistan secured a spot in the last eight and will face a formidable English side in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
