Pakistan slips to sixth slot in ICC T20 rankings

ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (APP): Pakistan has moved to 6th slot from 2nd in the fresh T20 rankings after losing three-match series against England.
Pakistan on Tuesday lost the last match of the series against England as the visitors clinched the match in super over after the close encounter ended up as tie in the normal 20 overs.
The 3-0 series win vaulted England to fourth position on 117 points,
while Pakistan dropped to sixth position on 114 points.
Sri Lanka are at the top on 125 points, followed by West Indies, who are second on the list on 118 points. Australia, too are on 118 points but they have been placed at number three because they have gained these points in 17 matches, whereas West Indies obtained these points in 19 matches. South Africa have been ranked number five and are on 115 points. India are behind Pakistan at number seven because they are on 110 points.
