Pakistan to hold International Super Kabaddi League this year: Rana Sarwar

 

PESHAWAR, Feb 21 (APP):Pakistan will host International
Super Kabaddi League this year, Secretary Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Muhammad
Sarwar Rana told APP here on Wednesday.
He said that the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF)
has also endorsed Super Kabaddi League would take place in Pakistan this year.
He said the International Kabaddi Federation informed
Pakistan Kabaddi Federation through an official letter addressed to him. He
also appreciated President International Kabaddi Federation Janardan Singh
Gehlot, for rendering great services to the promotion of Kabaddi in Pakistan
and in the rest of the world.
“International Kabaddi Federation endorses your League, Gehlot
said. Furthermore Gehlot also gave the rights to SKL to use International
Kabaddi Federation’s logo for SKL season-I.
Chairman Super Kabaddi League Haider Ali Daud Khan on the
occasion termed the endorsement comes as a breath of fresh air for the League.
This will allow Super Kabaddi League to bring players from various other
countries, Haider Ali Daud Khan added.
It is very important and the decision of endorsing by
President International Kabaddi Federation is a milestone for the forthcoming International
Super League. “Recognition of SKL by the International Kabaddi Federation has
enhanced League’s scope beyond Pakistan’s boundaries, which will also help in
portraying the softer image of the country throughout the world,” he concluded.
