LAHORE, Mar 12 (APP):Pakistan Youth Volleyball teams left on Tuesday for Thailand to take part in the AVC Asian U21 Beach Volleyball Championship, being held on March 15-19 at Roi ET.
Each team consists of two players, said a spokesman for the PVF here.
He said that Team one comprises Zarnab Khan and Afaq Khan, while team two consists of Usman Faryad Ali and Ahmad Mustafa Khan. Team officials are Ijaz Ahmad, Manager, and Hamid Movahedi from Iran, head coach.
Earlier, Team one secured 4th position in Asian Beach Volleyball Championship, held in March 2018, after defeating top teams of Asia.
“Our teams got useful practice at a training camp at Manora, Karachi and we are confident that they will put up decent fight in the event,” he said adding “Our teams will play practice matches before start of the Championship with other participating teams.”
