Pak team to feature in FIVB Boys’ U19 World C’ship

ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP):The Pakistan team will departed to Uzbekistan on Tuesday to feature in the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship, scheduled to take place from July 24 to August 3 in Tashkent.
This marks a historic moment for Pakistan Volleyball as the nation competes among the top youth volleyball teams in the world, a proud representation of the country’s growing strength in the sport, said a press release.
The FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship 2025 features participation from 24 of the world’s strongest national teams, including Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Finland, France, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, USA, and host Uzbekistan.
Pakistan U19 Team includes Muhammad Yahya (Captain), Tayyab Khan, Jabran, Muhammad Hassan, Muhammad Saud, Muhtad Ali Shah, Ajmal Junaid, Muhammad Irfan, Javed Ahmad, Talal Ahmad, Abu Bakar Siddique, Khizar Hayat.
The team officials accompanying the team comprise Saeed Ahmed Khan Sady (Head Coach), Ehsan Iqbal (Assistant Coach), Muhammad Suleman Amin (Assistant Coach), Muhammad Salman (Physiotherapist), Mazhar Fareed (Team Manager), Muhammad Shahbaz
(Official), Ch. Muhammad Yaqoob (Chairman, PVF/Head of Delegation), Sohail Khawar Mir (President, PVF).
Speaking on the occasion, Sohail Khawar Mir, President of Pakistan Volleyball Federation, said, “Our U19 team is a symbol of the hard work and growth Pakistan volleyball has seen in recent years. Competing in the World Championship is a dream for many, and this team will carry the flag with pride, discipline, and resilience.”
