ISLAMABAD, Jul 14 (APP): The Pakistan team continued outstanding performance in the 2nd Asian Men’s U16 Volleyball Championship 2025, as they defeated Chinese Taipei in their third and final group match.
Pakistan clinched a straight-set victory (3-0) with set scores of 26-24, 25-14, 25-16, showcasing strength, skill, and resilience, said a press release.
With this crucial win, Pakistan has topped Pool D, ahead of other strong teams including Korea and Saudi Arabia.
The match was a gripping display of teamwork and tactical excellence.
Key players who stood out in today’s match included Faizan, Talha, Junaid and Irfan. This victory places Pakistan in a strong position going into the Quarterfinals, where they are scheduled to face Indonesia (Pool B’s second-placed team) on July 16. The Pakistan Volleyball Federation has congratulated Pakistan team and coaching staff for maintaining a perfect record in the group stage and wishes them the very best in the knockout rounds.
