LAHORE, Jan 28 (APP):Pakistan Army Sports wing spokesman met with President, Pakistan Hockey Federation President Brig (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar on Monday.
The spokesman offered all out support to federation for promotion
of hockey in the country, while expressing his satisfaction on the
working of the federation.
Army sports wing spokesman said “we will fully cooperate with
PHF in the best interest of hockey.”Brig Khokhar thanked Pak Army for their support for promotion of sports in general and hockey in particular.
He also lauded Army’s role for promotion of sports saying Army
had always played key role in helping athletes and lend helping
hand towards providing security to international visiting teams.
“We are highly thankful to Army Sports Directorate for lending
support to national game hockey and we are taking every step to take Pakistan hockey to same old days glories, we are here to deliver and will not let down hockey lovers,” said the PHF Chief.
