Open trials to select athletes for upcoming int’l events on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, Jan 8 (APP):Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) will conduct open trials on Wednesday at Jinnah Stadium,
Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad to select athletes to represent the country in the upcoming
international events.
The trials will be held in the events of 60m, 400m, long jump, triple jump and 10000m race, a
spokesman of AFP said on Monday.
He said that the selected athletes would participate in the 8th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships,
scheduled to be held in Tehran, Iran, IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships, to be held in Birmingham,
UK and South Asian Cross Country Championships, which would take place in Bhutan.
