Mohsin Naqvi meets Sri Lankan Sports Minister

ISLAMABAD, Feb 16 (APP): Federal Minister for Interior and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sunil Kumara Gamage, to discuss matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation in sports, particularly cricket.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to strengthen collaboration between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in cricket and other sports, said a press release.
Naqvi and Gamage emphasized the importance of promoting bilateral relations through sports.
Naqvi praised the excellent arrangements made by Sri Lanka for the T20 World Cup and thanked the Sri Lankan government for their warm hospitality. He invited Gamage to visit Pakistan, extending an open invitation to strengthen ties between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Maj. Gen. (R) Faheem Aziz, Advisor to the PCB Chairman, Aamir Mir, Chief Operating Officer Samir Ahmed, and CEO of PSL Salman Naseer.
