ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):Pakistan’s Mikaeel Ali Baig and Timur Gordeev of Russia won the doubles singles title of the ITF Pakistan International J-30 Junior Tennis Championships-2025 leg-1, here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Friday.
A large number of junior tennis players from across the globe are participating in this prestigious tournament. Countries represented include China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the
host, Pakistan.
In the Boys Doubles final, Mikaeel, Timur defeated Ippei Matsushima (JPN), Kristijonas Milasaukas (LTU) 6-1,6-1 and won the boys doubles title.
In the Girls’ Doubles final, Serife Pelin Sari (TUR), Deniz Cakil (TUR) beat Mingxi Qu (CHN), Zihan Feng (CHN) 4-6,6-3(10-5) and won the girls’ doubles title.
Girls Singles Semifinal: Ecrin Lal Yavuz (TUR) beat Mingxi Qu (CHN) 7-6(2), 6-4; Yewon Lee (KOR) beat Zihan Feng (CHN) 6-3,2-6,6-1.
The Girls Singles and Boys Singles final will be played on Saturday.
