KP Governor congratulates Sahibzada Sultan on election as ITPF Vice President

PESHAWAR, Apr 20 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday congratulated Sahibzada Sultan Muhammad Ali on his election as Vice President of the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF).

In a felicitation message, the Governor said that in the recent elections held in Oman, Sahibzada Sultan secured a convincing victory by obtaining votes from 27 out of 36 participating countries.

He said the achievement reflected international confidence in his leadership and brought pride to Pakistan by raising its flag high in the sport of tent pegging.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that under Sahibzada Sultan’s leadership, Pakistan’s team had delivered outstanding performance, winning three gold, two silver and two bronze medals in international competitions.

He further highlighted that Sahibzada Sultan Muhammad Ali is also serving as head of the Asian Tent Pegging Committee, adding that his continued role at both regional and global levels would further strengthen Pakistan’s presence in the sport.

The Governor said that the World Tent Pegging Federation, comprising 48 member countries, is a significant international body, and Pakistan’s representation at its leadership level would enhance the country’s standing globally.

He expressed confidence that Sahibzada Sultan’s appointment as Vice President would not only promote tent pegging in Pakistan but also project a positive image of the country at the international level.
