MULTAN, Sep 6 (APP): Karachi Blues defeated FATA by 17 runs in the second match played under lights in the second round of Cool & Cool Present Jazz National T-20 Cup 2016 here late Monday night.
Karachi won the toss and elected to bat first posting a total of 151 for the loss of seven wickets in the 20 overseas.
Shahzaib Hassan hit 51 off 48 balls with the help of five boundaries and one six. Fawad Alan scored 25 runs.
Aamer Yamin 3-31, Bilal Asif 2-28 were main wicket takers from FATA.
FATA batsmen could score 134-7 in 20 overs. Muhammad Imran scored 34 runs with three bondaries and one six while Bilal Asif contributed 30 runs with two boundaries and as many sixes.
Saeed Ajmal took two wickets conceding only 1 runs while Bilawal Bhatti 2-31.
Shahzaib Hassan was declared man of the match.
