KHANEWAL, Nov 16 (APP): Kabirwala Cricket Club defeated
Khan Lovely Club Old Khanewal by 66 runs during a match of All
District Andaaz T-20 Cup Cricket Tournament 2016, here on
Wednesday.
Playing first, Kabirwala Club scored 272 runs for the
loss of two wickets in fixed 20 overs. Ahsan played a vital role
in giving a handsome target to the rival team by scoring 148 runs
and Qalandar Ali contributed 56 runs in the total. Abid Ali and
Muhammad Akmal of Khan Lovely Club took one wicket each.
The Khan Lovely Club failed to achieve the target as the
whole team returned to pavilion at a total of 208 runs. Abid Ali
struggled hard to get victory for his team as he made 140 runs
while Ejaz made 20 runs. Muhammad Ramzan and Ashiq Ali of
Kabirwala Club took three wickets each.
