JK team wins Memorial Bridge Tournament

ISLAMABAD, Nov 2 (APP): JK team beat Holdem team to win the Col.
Cheema Memorial Bridge Tournament played here at the Islamabad Club.
It is JK team’s third consecutive major tournament win which was kept
in memory to pay tribute to late Col. Ishtiaq Cheema, an ardent bridge player who passed away last year, says a press release issued here.
JK Team sailed through the rounds of the event with an aggregate of
70.12. The squad comprised of Javed Khalid, Saeed Akhtar, Sarwar Khan and Shahid Hamid.
The runners up were Holdem team with an aggregate of 65.37. The team
members were Imran Gardezi, Uzair Kemal, Arslan and Umer Aslam. The second runners up were Goulash with an aggregate of 57.03. The team included Farida Masud, Akhtar Haq, Abid Naqvi and Brig. (R) Khalid.
At the end of the event prizes were given to the winners by Abdullah,
Suleman and Saad Cheema, sons of late Col. Ishtiaq Cheema.
