Jansher meets Peshawar Mayor

ISLAMABAD, May 28 (APP):Squash Legend Jansher Khan had a meeting with Muhammad Asim Khan Mayor of Peshawar at his residence on Monday.
During the meeting Mayor of Peshawar commended the true services of Jansher and paid him a heartily tribute, said a press release issued here.
He said that 8 World Champion belonging to Peshawar have ruled the game of Squash for 40 Years and their services will be remembered forever.
He further reassured Jansher that sincere efforts were being made to promote squash activities and junior academies are being launched on district and provincial levels to revive the game in the country.
Jansher praised the interest of Asim in squash and paid him tribute for encouraging new players and holding squash tournaments in PAF Squash Complex, Peshawar.
