PESHAWAR, Sept 2 (APP): Former World Champion and Squash legend Jansher Khan has categorically negated the news regarding playing of overage players in the Pakistan team that recently won the World Junior Squash Championship in Poland.

Jansher Khan, who is also advisor to President Pakistan Squash Federation Chief of Air Staff Sohail Aman, in a statement issued here has showed his extreme anger and
termed the news published in section of press as baseless.

He said the victory was made possible only after proper planning of Pakistan Squash Federation and the facilities provided to the players by the PSF under the leadership of
Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Sohail Aman.

“It was a victory for all the country and not only for one person of squash federation and those who are spreading such baseless rumours are not loyal to the country,” Jansher
who won the World Championship record eight times said.

Jansher, however, assured that he would personally look into the matter to clear any ambiguity in the minds of the certain people.

Such blames also take the credit away from the players and their coaching and management staff who worked hard day-night to bring back the glory of Pakistan squash.

He also said that he would be willing to take the persons to court who had blamed Pakistan Squash Federation for selecting overage players for the Junior World Squash Championship.
