Islamabad wins Futsal C’ship
ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):Islamabad team has clinched the Pak-Turk North Region Futsal Championship played here at Pak-Turk College.
Islamabad beat Lahore by 5-0 goals in the final match.
Zamir and Fahad Naajeeb scored two goals each while Haroon scored one goal.
Hassan of Islamabad and Farman of Peshawar were declared best goalkeeper and best player of the tournament, respectively.
A total of four teams took part in the championship including Islamabad, Lahore, Multan and Peshawar.
Assistant Director, Pakistan Sports Board, Ghulam Taqi who was the chief guest on the occasion gave away trophies and medals to the players.
Principal, Pak-Turk College Islamabad, Zeeshan Azad, Secretary General, Pakistan Futsal Federation, Adnan Malik, Sports Coordinator, Adnan Sami were also present on the occasion.
