PESHAWAR, Jul 11 (APP): ICMS Cricket Club stunned stars studded Shama Club led by Pakistan’s star batsmen Muhammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmad and got the Championship title of the PCB Inter-Club Cricket played here Shama Cricket Ground on Thursday.
The champion ICMS team of District Peshawar in Pakistan Cricket Board Inter-Club Tournament defeated Shama Cricket Club by 120 runs in the final.
The star performers of the final, was Abbas Ali, who took two wickets with an innings of 118 runs and won the player of the final award. In the final, ICMS batted first and scored 301 runs in the allotted 40 overs.
Abbas Ali scored a magnificent century and scored 118 runs with the help of four fours and eight towering sixes. Abbas Afridi was the second best batsman with his cracking 49 runs, his innings included five sixes and two fours.
Arafat Khan scored 47 runs with the help of five fours, Muhammad Amir, Kashif Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed from Shama club dismissed two players. The Shama club team was bowled out for 181 runs. Abdullah Khan scored 45 runs, Mohammad Rizwan scored 29 runs and Abrar Ahmed scored 23 runs.
Gibran Khan took 3 important wickets. Abbas Ali and Obaidullah dismissed two players. The match was umpired by Kofhar Alam and Shehzad Shah while Nadeem Akhtar performed the duties of the scorer.
