MULTAN, Jul 02 (APP):Pakistan’s pride, Furqan Khan, won the Bronze Medal in the 130-kg Greco-Roman Wrestling category at the World Police & Fire Games 2025, held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
Competing against some of the world’s top athletes, Furqan Khan delivered a powerful performance, securing impressive victories against opponents from the United States and Mongolia. Despite a highly competitive and hard-fought match, he was edged out by India in the semi-finals. Nevertheless, Furqan’s determination and skill earned him a well-deserved spot on the podium.
Speaking after the event, Furqan Khan stated that he showed up with the best he had. Every drop of sweat was for my country, and I’m proud to bring the medal home for Pakistan.
