ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP): A four-member Pakistan national tenpin bowling team will participate in the World Cup Tenpin Bowling Tournament scheduled to be held from October 12 to 21 in Munich, Germany, President Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) Ijaz-ur-Rehman said on Saturday.
The national squad comprises Ahmer Saldeira, Ghazanfar Bilal, Daniyal-ur-Rehman and Muhammad Mueez, while Muhammad Hussain Chatta will accompany the team as manager.
Talking to APP, Ijaz-ur-Rehman said the selected players were currently undergoing rigorous training to prepare for the prestigious international event.
He said bowlers from around 48 countries would participate in the tournament and compete for the world title.
The participating countries include Pakistan, the United States, hosts Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Kuwait, China, Canada, Spain, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Türkiye, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, among others.
The PTBF president expressed confidence that the national players would put up a strong performance and represent Pakistan with distinction at the international event.
