FAISALABAD, Oct 24 (APP):The district administration has completed foolproof security arrangements for three ODI cricket matches to be played between Pakistan and South Africa on November 4-6-8 at Iqbal Stadium.
In this regard, a meeting was held at the Police Community Engagement Center chaired by the CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar. SSP Operations Bushra Jamil, SSP Investigation Nasir Mahmood Bajwa, Chief Traffic Officer Nasir Javed, Town SPs, and other police officers were present.
It was informed in the meeting that foolproof security arrangements for the international cricket series at Iqbal stadium have been finalized.
On the occasion, CPO issued necessary instructions to the officers to ensure effective patrolling around the players’ accommodation area, routes and stadium as well as ensuring implementation on SOPs with the coordination of other law enforcement agencies.
He said that security arrangements would be monitored in the stadium and its surroundings through modern cameras, while uninterrupted traffic flow and implementation of the parking plan will also be ensured in letter and spirit.
CPO said that walk-through gates and a modern scanning system would also be installed at entry and exit points of the stadium.
