FAISALABAD, June 10 (APP): Floodlight Ramazan Cricket Tournament started in M.S Academy ground of Eden Valley here late last night.
According to detail, 12 teams are participating in this tournament including FCCI (Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry) cricket team.
Renowned cricketer Saeed Ajmal and Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain senior vice president FCCI formally inaugurated the tournament.
In his short address, Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain underlined the importance of healthy sports activities and said that businessmen are fully aware of their social corporate responsibility and are generously donating for the promotion of healthy sports activities.
He said that this tournament is also sponsored by the leading members of the FCCI.
He also appreciated the efforts of Saeed Ajmal, Muhammad Salman and Abid Masood Secretary General FCCI for making this opportunity possible for the local youth.
The opening match was played between Orbit Express and Elahi Developers.
