KARACHI, May 12 (APP): Five male and five female Chess Masters have qualified in Pakistan National Chess Championship of Men and Women to compete in 42nd Chess Olympiad to be commenced from September 1-14,2016.
The teams from 175 countries are participating in 42nd Chess Olympiad to be held in Baku, Azerbhaijan.
The 69 male Chess Masters participated in 30th Pakistan National Chess Championship held from May 5-12 at Karachi Gymkhana and only five have qualified. Those who qualified were Lodhi Mahmood and Dr.
Murtaza Ali from Punjab, Wahid Hussain from Sindh, Syed Ahmed Ali from Punjab and Muhammad Salman Farooqi from Sindh.
