FAISALABAD, Nov 02 (APP): The Pakistan and South Africa cricket teams have arrived in Faisalabad to participate in the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series, with both sides scheduled to hold practice sessions on Monday ahead of the opening match on November 4, 2025.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, the teams reached Faisalabad under tight security arrangements. Police authorities confirmed that state guest-level VVIP security had been provided to both squads, while the route from the airport to their hotel was cordoned off on both sides to ensure a safe and smooth transfer.
A PCB spokesperson said that South Africa would hold its training session tomorrow (Monday) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., while Pakistan would practice later in the evening at 6 p.m. Both teams are expected to finalize their playing combinations and strategies during these sessions, he added.
