FAISALABAD, Nov 04 (APP):City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming Pakistan–South Africa cricket match and emphasized the need for strict adherence to security protocols and interdepartmental coordination to ensure the successful and peaceful conduct of the international fixture.
During his visit, he inspected various security points around Iqbal Stadium, reviewed deployment plans, and evaluated the preparedness of police personnel assigned to match duties.
He directed that all spectators arriving to watch the match must be guided through necessary security checks and allowed entry only after proper screening.
He also ordered that walk-through gates and modern scanning systems must be fully operational at all entry and exit points to ensure smooth and secure access for fans.
The CPO stressed the importance of continuous surveillance through advanced CCTV cameras inside and around the stadium and directed that the control room maintain real-time monitoring of all movements.
He further instructed that the flow of traffic and the parking plan be implemented without interruption to facilitate citizens and prevent congestion in the adjoining areas.
