Cirotte, Leon clinch women’s doubles title at W15 Islamabad

France’s Astrid Cirotte and Mexico’s Sabastiani Leon clinched the women’s doubles title at the W15 Islamabad–World Tennis Women’s Futures Championships 2026, defeating South Korea’s Jeong Moon and Thailand’s Kamonwan Yodpetch in the final at the PTF Tennis Complex on Saturday.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP):France’s Astrid Cirotte and Mexico’s Sabastiani Leon clinched the women’s doubles title at the W15 Islamabad–World Tennis Women’s Futures Championships 2026, defeating South Korea’s Jeong Moon and Thailand’s Kamonwan Yodpetch in the final at the PTF Tennis Complex on Saturday.
The winning pair recovered from losing the opening set to secure a 5-7, 6-2, 10-5 victory in the final.
Meanwhile, Cirotte and Yodpetch advanced to the women’s singles final after winning their respective semifinal matches.
Top seed Cirotte, currently ranked world No. 624, defeated Uzbekistan’s Sevil Yuldasheva 6-4, 7-5, while Yodpetch overcame South Africa’s Wozuko Mdlulwa 6-0, 6-4 to set up the title clash.
The women’s singles final is scheduled for October 11 at 1pm at the PTF Tennis Complex, where Cirotte will face Yodpetch for the championship.
A total of 30 players from 17 countries are participating in the first leg of the championship, which is sponsored by Fatima Group.
Players from France, China, Russia, Denmark, Mexico, Uzbekistan, South Africa, the Netherlands, South Korea, Nepal, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, Thailand, Türkiye, the Czech Republic and Pakistan are competing in the event.
