Circuit-1 qualifying round kicks off

ISLAMABAD, May 8 (APP):The 1st qualifying round Men events matches of Pakistan Squash Circuit-1 of Men event were played on Tuesday here at the at Mushaf Squash Complex.
The tournament includes Men and Women Events. An amount of US$ 10,000 has been set as prize money in Men event whereas US$ 5,000 in Women Event.
The Men event is being played with Qualifying as well as Main round whereas Women event is to be played with 16 players main round only. All top ranking Pakistani players are participating in these events.
The 1st qualifying round of Mens event kick off with a draw of 16 players. Zahir Shah (Pak) beat Zeeshan Zeb (Pak) 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 (21 Min); Bilal Zakir (Pak) beat Abdul Qadir (Pak) 11-6, 11-9, 11-3 (25 Min); Noman Khan (Pak) beat Farhan Hashmi (Pak) 7-11, 11-6, 11-4, 11-8 (25 Min); Danish Atlas (Pak) beat Mehran Javed (Pak) 11-3, 11-2, 12-10 (26 Min); Haris Iqbal (Pak) beat Kashif Asif (Pak) 11-6, 11-8, 15-13 (36 Min); Farhan (Pak) beat Uzair Shoukat (Pak) 5-11, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9 (46 Min); Iqtidar Khan (Pak) beat Haseeb Taj (Pak) 11-5, 11-6, 11-7 (17 Min) and Mansoor Zaman (Pak) beat Abdul Malik (Pak) 15-13, 13-11, 11-8 (28 Min).
