LAHORE, Apr 02 (APP):Ch. Sports beat Shah Jamal Green by 6-Wickets in the 20th National Seniors Cricket Cup here at Race Course Park Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Brief scores, Shah Jamal Green batted first 234/6 in 30 overs. Azeem Aslam contributed solid 84 followed by equally 70 by Saqib Farooq. Aqeel Akram made 38 and Mehmood Ahmad added 15. Ch. Sports bowling ,Zulfiqar Ali captured 3/39 and Javed Hafeez claimed 2/37.
In reply Ch. Sports answered with 238/4 in 22.5 overs. Nazir Ahmad played well and scored polished 79. Shahid Akram 49, Abdul Rehman Qadir 19, Sheraz Butt 28 and Javaid Hafeez 22, Abdul Rehman Qadir 19 were the other notable scorers.
Shah Jamal Green bowling, Bilal Ahmad got 2/58, Adnan claimed 1/24 and Imran took 1/42 Wickets. Sagheer Ahmad, Hassan Mehmood stood as umpires e and Waqar Ahmad was the scorer. End of the Match Chief Guest Cricket Promoter Abid Sheikh gave man of the match award to Nazir Ahmad.
