PESHAWAR, Jul 03 (APP):Under the auspices of the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, construction of the first-ever Jawan Markaz (Youth Center) in the tribal district Mohmand is expected to be completed by next week. The facility will be formally handed over to the department.
Preparations for the installation of all essential equipment and furnishings in the key sections of Jawan Markaz Mohmand have been finalized.
These include a modern 112-seat auditorium/youth jirga hall equipped with a high-quality sound and projection system, office furniture, 10 state-of-the-art Core i-series computers for the IT lab/co-working space, a fully furnished waiting area, a fully functional incubation center, a lecture and career counseling room, and complete gym equipment for the indoor fitness facility.
All required items are expected to be delivered to the center by July 15, 2025.
According to Dr. Nauman Mujahid, Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jawan Markaz Mohmand will become fully operational from July 25, 2025, and will be available to serve the youth of the region.
The initiative reflects the vision of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur to establish youth centers across the province for the social and economic uplift of young people.
The continuous interest and support of Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Syed Fakhar Jehan, have played a vital role in turning this vision into reality.
