BAHAWALPUR, Jan 18 (APP):The concerned departments have finalized all arrangements for the launch of the 21st International Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally.
It is pertinent to note that the Cholistan Desert Rally has attained the status of an international motorsports event, making it imperative to ensure flawless and effective arrangements. The rally has played a significant role in projecting a positive image of Pakistan globally and has become a major attraction for motorsports enthusiasts from around the world.
According to official sources at the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), the 21st International Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally will be held from February 11 to February 15, 2026. The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place in Bahawalpur on February 10.
On February 11, registration of participating vehicles, technical inspections, medical tests, and the drivers’ conference will be conducted. Qualifying rounds for all categories will be held on February 12 at Dilwash Stadium, Derawar.
As per the schedule, the first races of the men’s and women’s prepared categories will take place on February 13. On February 14, the stock category race will be held, followed by a cultural night.
The final day, February 15, will feature the second rounds of the men’s and women’s categories, along with dirt bike, quad, and truck races. The closing ceremony and prize distribution will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the TDCP Resort, Derawar, where winning drivers and teams will be awarded trophies and honors, the officials concluded.
