ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Pakistan’s young tennis talent Ahtesham Humayun has achieved an impressive international success by winning the J60 Doubles title at the World Tennis Junior Championship in Megrine, Tunisia.
Ahtesham partnered with Joshua Oliver Zapp of Switzerland (SUI) and delivered a strong performance throughout the tournament, said a press release.
In the final, the Pakistani-Swiss pair defeated Zayd Ahfer (MAR) / Yacine Meghari (ALG) in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-2 to claim the championship title.
Ahtesham Humayun is training at Ace Academy Pakistan, and his latest international achievement highlights the growing potential of Pakistan’s young tennis players and the importance of quality training and international competition.
President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, and Secretary General PTF, Col. (R) Zia-ud-Din Tufail, congratulated Ahtesham Humayun on this outstanding achievement. They expressed their happiness and pride at seeing Pakistani players performing strongly on the international stage and bringing laurels to the country.
