ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP): Pakistan’s Abdullah Nawaz continued his winning streak at the World Junior Individual Squash Championships 2025 in Egypt, securing a spot in the pre-quarterfinals after impressive back-to-back victories on Day 2 of the prestigious event.
Seeded [5/8], Abdullah showcased his dominance in the second round by overpowering Canada’s Rohan Paliwal in straight sets with a commanding score line of 11-6, 11-3, 11-3, according to information made available here by Pakistan Squash Federation.
The young Pakistani star carried his momentum into the third round where he faced a tougher challenge from USA’s Oscar Okonkwo [17/32]. Despite dropping a close second game, Abdullah held his nerve and triumphed 3-1 with scores of 11-8, 10-12, 11-7, 11-2.
With these successive wins, Abdullah Nawaz has advanced to the pre-quarterfinals and will look to continue his fine form in his upcoming match scheduled for tomorrow.
