PESHAWAR, May 08 (APP):Fakhar Club of Taru Jabba advanced to next round after securing victory against Sano Club Tarnab in the opening match of the 3rd Ramazan Night Inter-Club Volleyball Championship which got under way here at Taru Jabba Vilage with hundreds and thousands of spectators turned up.
District Member UC Taru Jabba Haider Ali, Abid Afridi Village Nazim Jabba Khalisa, former Director Youth Arshad Hussain, elders of the area, officials, players and large number of spectators were also present.
A total of 16 clubs comprising Fakhar Club, Sano Club Tarnab, Maahaz club Urmar, Raza Club Amankot, Shahzeb Club Mohib Banda, Rameez Club Aman Kot, Pashtoon Ghari Club, Toru Club District Mardan, Suhrab Club Jabba, Ihsan Club Nahaqi, Charsadda, Aamir Club Chargarmati, Wajid Club Taru, Aftab Club Jabba, Hamad Club Dag Baso,, Arif Club Nowshera, Farooq Club Azakhail, Pabbi.
The final of the Championship will be played on May 21, 2019 before the semi-final on May 19 and 20, 2019. All the matches will be played soon after Nimaz-e-Tarawi at 10.00 p.m.
Earlier, in the opening match Fakhar Club Taru Jabba defeated Sano Club Tarnab by 3-1, the score was 22-25, 29-27, 25-23 and 25-21.
