35 world renowned mountainer groups, 18 trekking parties visit Pakistan for expeditions

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (APP): Around 35 world renowned mountainers groups and 18 trekking parties visited Pakistan for mountain expedition during this year.
Alpine Club Secretary Abu Zafar told APP that 222 members of these groups participated in various expeditions.
“Similarly, 18 foreign trekking parties visited Pakistan for trekking various high peaks, in which 87 members participated in the trekking and explored North Paradise of Pakistan,” he informed.
He said that these mountainers groups included French Gasherbrum II Expedition 2016, Slovenian Inernational Broad Peak & Gasherbrum IV Expedition 2016, Snowland, Ghamubar Zom Expedition 2016, Nancy, Ralf, Karakoram Expedition 2016.
