13000 policemen, 250 commandos to be employed for PSL in Karachi: Police chief

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Karachi was all set to host the most awaited mega event of Pakistan Super League said Karachi police chief Dr Ameer Sheikh on Thursday.
Talking to a private news channel he said that Sindh chief minister and all security institutions were determined to make the event successful.
“We had employed 13,000 police personnel and 250 commandos to provide security from hotels to stadium”, he said.
He said that police department had upgraded the security system for PSL and eradicated the last year’s observed security lapses.
