Work of removing derailed bogies, cleaning railway line Underway near Wahab Shah railay station: Authorities

HYDERABAD, Jul 20 (APP): After the derailement of goods train at Wahab Shah railway station last night the track could not be restored despite the passage of 16 hours.

Soon after the accident, the railway management has started an emergency operation to restore the track.

According to the railway authorities, the work of removing the derailed bogies from the track and cleaning the railway line with the help of heavy machinery is in progress.

The high-ranking officials of the railway, engineering teams and technical staff reached the accident site and are engaged in the track rehabilitation work.

Due to the accident, the movement of trains has been suspended on both Up and Down railway tracks, while many passenger trains have been stopped at various railway stations and sent to alternative rides, while tickets for railway travel across the country have also been suspended.
