KARACHI, Oct 02 (APP): Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the timely completion of development projects is the top priority of the Government of Sindh.
The Pakistan Peoples Party government has launched more than 13,000 schemes, of which more than 9,000 have been completed.
In flood-affected areas, more than 80 percent of the work on 724 kilometres of roads has been completed.
In a statement on Friday, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that expanding the modern public transport system is also among the government’s priorities, and millions of people have been provided with travel facilities through the Orange Line and Green Line BRT services.
He said that construction work on various sections of the Yellow Line BRT and Red Line BRT is progressing rapidly, and additional new EV buses and double-decker buses will arrive in Karachi soon.
He said that the government is focusing on the timely completion of development projects so that the public can benefit from them soon.
