Team Karachi distributes over 8,000 ration bags during Ramazan campaign

KARACHI, Mar 11 (APP):Team Karachi Welfare Society International has completed the fourth phase of its grand Ramazan ration distribution drive in Karachi, delivering over 8,000 ration bags to deserving families as part of its 15,000-bag target for the holy month.
Saqib Zeeshan, President of Team Karachi, along with other members of the organization, participated in a distribution of the second phase 400 ration bags among deserving families from different areas of Karachi at Decent Marriage Hall, Korangi.
These distribution drives were carried out with the support of management, volunteers and donors, ensuring that essential food support reached low-income households in an organised manner during Ramadan. The latest phase adds to the organisation’s continuing ration and food support efforts aimed at easing pressure on families facing rising financial hardship.
“Ramazan reminds us of our shared responsibility towards families facing hardship. Every ration bag delivered through this campaign represents collective compassion from our donors, volunteers and well-wishers, and we remain committed to serving deserving communities with dignity,” said Saqib Zeeshan, President Team Karachi Welfare Society International.
“The Rashan drive initiative was not only about distributing food; it was about reaching homes with respect, hope and timely support in the holy month. We are grateful to every person who stood with us to make this phase possible,” said Mehmood Arshad of Team Karachi Welfare Society International.
Beyond this Ramazan drive, Team Karachi continues to work in different areas of community welfare aimed at supporting vulnerable families in Karachi through practical and need-based assistance.
Team Karachi’s wider projects include marriage assistance for deserving girls, scholarship support for students, and livelihood programmes through which people are helped with income-generating support such as rickshaws and sewing machines. The organisation also works on skills development initiatives, including sewing, embroidery and IT training, alongside other welfare efforts intended to help individuals and families move towards greater stability and self-reliance.
